   HAPPY NEW YEAR TO CONONDALE

Brilliant sunshine early today. A terrific start to the New Year.
This photo was taken along the M-K Rd in front of the school.

A half an hour later the early morning birdsong was interrupted by four squawking black cockatoos. Usually a sign that heavy rain will come for at least a couple more days, possibly more.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a huge THANK YOU

A huge thank you to all those warm-hearted Conondalians who contributed to the Christmas Food Collection. The Maleny Neighbourhood Centre`s services through the year are open to Conondalians - check out their website if you have never called in there.
Their XMAS BREAKFAST is on as usual and everyone is welcome

15th December 2024    Welcome to all

To those who are new to this site, Conondale Community Matters is a virtual noticeboard of information about our local area and surrounds, including Cambroon, Conondale, Elaman Creek and Harper Creek.        Crystal Waters Village is also situated in Conondale Queensland 4552

Your stories and public community events are welcome

Do you have an interesting story about the local area, local people or a local event happening here? Please contact us by email if you would like to share something.

Can you help us with a local history page?

If you have any photographs or stories about the local history, we'd love to hear from you. Or perhaps you'd like to collate those stories for us? Volunteers most welcome.

A HUGE thank you to Louisa for kindly volunteering her time managing this blog throughout the last year.

Remember?   "My name is Louisa - I live with my husband Mark, our cat Peaches and five chickens in the Conondale township. We moved here from Maleny in 2021, and we absolutely love the valley, especially its peacefulness and lovely community of people".

Both Louisa, and her husband Mark, are such a great addition to the Conondale Community.

Please contact conondalecommunitymatters@gmail.com  or

SMS us 0418 392 092 with your phone number, and reason for contacting us, so we can phone you back.

We look forward to meeting more amazing people who make up our community.
